Amgen, Inc. (AMGN) has had an amazing 30 years of stock performance. In 2011, Amgen began paying a dividend, but as you can see from the chart above, most of the company's incredible growth came prior to that. A $5,000 investment in (AMGN) at the start of 1985 would have grown into over 18 million dollars worth of stock by the end of 2024.
