Cryptocurrency Returns Index
The Cryptocurrency Returns Index shows the historic yearly returns of selected cryptocurrencies. When constructing the returns for the Cryptocurrency Returns Index we tried to include as much data for each particular cryptocurrency that we could. For example, if a cryptocurrency was initially traded in June 2019, the 2019 return for that particular cryptocurrency will show the return from the closing price of the initial trading day of that digital currency as the beginning price and the ending price will be the closing price for the year. Included in the index are the largest digital currencies by marketcap. Some of the newer digital coins that were initiated in late 2019, 2020, or 2021 are currently not listed as there is not enough data to create a chart. Furthermore, since all digital currencies have been created in the last decade or so, the charts of the cryptocurrencies are rather small compared to much of the other data included on 1Stock1. It will be interesting to watch how the future unfolds for digital currencies. Some of them are bound to survive and grow while many will be destined to be sidenotes in digital coin history.
