Walmart has had amazing returns over the past 45 years. During this time frame the stock has split 9 times compounding the number of shares over and over. Even more incredible, you would be earning over $1 million in dividends alone in 2023 from a $5,000 investment at the beginning of 1975. Walmart's stock performance has slowed down in recent years, but the big retailer has still produced very solid returns for investors.
