Caterpillar (CAT) has been a steady stock performer over the past 35 years.  A $5,000 investment at the beginning of 1985 would be worth over $1.1 million today.   Caterpillar has had an impressive run over the last couple years.  An investment in 2010 would have grown over 800% by the end of 2024 with all dividends being reinvested.  Caterpillar is another example of how an established company can steadily grow and post nice returns.
All calculations assume all dividends are reinvested to purchase additional shares. Taxes and commissions are not factored into calculations. Data is property of 1stock1 and written permission must be granted before redistributing any data (in part or in whole).
