Intel Corporation (INTC) has been around as a public company much longer than I realized. Since 1976, Intel Corporation has had 11 stock splits with six of them coming before 1987. As a result, Intel has produced some excellent long term returns. A $5,000 investment in Intel at the beginning of 1975 would have resulted in a holding of over 10 million dollars at the end of 2023. However, a $5,000 investment at the beginning of 2000 would only be worth a little more than $10,000 at the end of 2023.
